Douzelage Youth Board meet in Sušice and Bad Kötzting
The recently elected Douzelage Youth Board held their first meeting together in our partner towns of Sušice (CZ) and Bad Kötzting (DE) to discuss plans for the upcoming General Meeting.

Bundoran welcomes Mayor of Preveza & Greek Ambassador
Bundoran’s Douzelage committee held a reception to welcome the mayor of Preveza, Greece, Mr Nikos Georgakos together with His Excellency Mr. Georgios Stilianopoulos, Ambassador of Greece to Ireland.

ABOUT US
What is Douzelage?
Douzelage is an organisation embodying the values of friendship, cooperation, and unity across Europe. Formed in 1991, it connects 28 partner towns, one from each EU member state, through music, culture, sport, and education. Originating from the twinning of Sherborne (UK) and Granville (France), its name combines the French words “Douze” (twelve) and “Jumelage” (twinning). Douzelage hosts annual meetings, and activities such as the Young Musician’s Festival, and the Festival of Europe, fostering cultural exchange and celebrating events like the Pfingstritt in Bad Kötzting (Germany) and St Patrick’s Day in Bundoran (Ireland).
